If you think moving to a new school is tough, imagine moving to a new PLANET! That's about how strange it feels to be Allen Strange, a teenage alien who snuck onto a Xelan spaceship and got stranded on Earth. (Don't ya hate it when that happens?). And as if being stranded isn't stressful enough, now he has to deal with Earth school while he figures out how to get back home. Allen's new Earth friends, Robbie and Josh, cover for him and help him look for a way back to Xela, and he shows them new ways to look at their own planet. Allen misses Xela a lot, but hanging out with his new friends makes home feel not quite so far away.
